Black Dave Cruise
Free - we greet all our guests at the Government Dock in Egmont on our classic West Coast wooden boat, then its a leisurely 30 minute cruise over to the island, so kick back and enjoy the ride. All prices include 1 return boat ride to and from the island. Additional trips, additional charges.
Snorkel The Bay
Free - snorkelling equipment is available for all our guests to explore life under the ocean in the peaceful, calm waters of our protected bay
Kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board
$20 per person per day. Explore Nelson Island's coves and bays that lead to hidden hiking trails, or visit the seal colony at Lone Tree Island. Try out an SUP session in the protected water of the bay. Safety equipment included.
Skookumchuck Narrows Boat Tour
$48 per person - Thrilling and informative 2 hour zodiac boat tour with Skookumchuck Boat Tours, taking in North America's fastest tidal rapids, Sechelt Narrows, the mountain peaks of Jervis Inlet, overly abundant marine life and ancient native pictographs. Pick up and drop off at Bathgates Store in Egmont and will pick up or drop off at our private dock.
Friel Falls Boat Tour
$40 per person, minimum 4 people - 3 hour cruise on our Classic West Coast wooden boat into Hotham Sound to see the Falls drop 1,450 feet from the lake into the ocean. Best viewed in Spring or early Summer depending upon rainfall levels
Princess Louisa Falls Tour
$149 per person - start or end your trip Out There with a 5 hour tour of Jervis Inlet and Chatterbox falls with Sunshine Coast Tours. They pick up and drop off at the Backeddy Marina in Egmont, and will pick up or drop off at our private dock.
Free - Make time for a refreshing dip in stunning Ruby Lake on your way home, or Egmont's own Waugh Lake is a fantastic local watering hole.
Hike “The Skook”
Free - An easy 4km hike from Egmont through stunning old growth forest will take you to viewing points to watch thrill seeking kayakers surf the Skookumchuck Rapids. The flood tide brings big waves, the ebb tide brings whirlpools. Check out the best viewing times.
